A Sheer Delight working with proactive clients

Working with clients to get their marketing materials together is rewarding in many ways - but far more rewarding is what happens when they really get stuck in and make stuff happen on their own.
No external consultant can really get involved in the way a client can for themselves, if they have the mind to do it - and sadly some don't!
Which is why I was so pleased to receive this fab testimonial from a lingerie retail client just recently, as it showed they were engaged on so many levels...
Just to let you know that we have hit a major milestone on the website. The "bra fitting" page hits are now over 2,000 – driven by Google Adwords. Other pages are up to the 500-800 hits and we constantly get good customer feedback about the website. Finally, Sheer Delight's major supplier (Van de Velde) was also impressed. It's going very well and it's proving easy to keep up to date and tie in with the ezines – another positive success as well.
- The are looking at their analytics data and can see the return on investment by knowing how many hits they are getting, plus it gives them the chance to tweak what's not working so well and to major on the successes.
- They are driving traffic to the site with Google AdWords, another tool where they can measure their return, plus it's a fantastic extra 'pillar' to their marketing.
- Great customer feedback - not only are they recording it, but it's a source of testimonials which is such a rich seam for any business.
- A key supplier loves it - so they are scoring on the brand awareness level too.
- It's easy to update - which means they are working on it frequently.
- And they are getting ezines out to customers - which means they have an active database PLUS yet another pillar to their marketing.
